Diamond D Kennels is a small breeder located in Georgetown, Texas.
We’ve been raising Miniature Dachshunds since 2003. We are working to develop our own line of dogs that will best represent
the official Dachshund Breed Standard for showing or family companion purposes. All of our dogs are raised with
lots and lots of love and attention! They are raised in a loving home environment with exposure to children of different ages.
(NO SMALL CAGES HERE!) All dogs are kept current on vaccinations and wormings, including regular monthly flea treatments.
They are all near and dear to my heart and I consider each one a member of our family.
** So why raise dachshunds? **
I’m
glad you asked! Because Dachshunds are an amazing breed, unlike any other breed I’ve been around. (This is a hard concept
to explain unless you've owned one, then you’ll understand.) Full of life, love and energy! With proper direction
on handling a dachshund, they make an ideal family dog for kids of all ages. They’ll make your family complete
J But I must warn you, doxies are like potato chips, it's hard
to stop with just one!
At any time during their lifetime any dog we have raised is welcome back here for any reason. Because of outside
health risks to our current residents, every attempt will be made to help their current owners find a suitable new home
for these dogs first. However, if a new home is not found and/or the dog needs to be placed immediately, we will take the
dog back into our home and a new home will be found at little or no cost to their new owners. This is a service we are
happy to provide should it be necessary (we understand, sometimes "life" just happens). No
money will be refunded if a dog/puppy is returned for re-homing assistance.
