Puppy Sales Contract
This is a legal contract between buyer
and seller.
All future veterinary bills will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
** At no time will
the seller be responsible for any incurred expenses **
Every precaution
has been taken to see that your new puppy/dog is healthy and disease free. HOWEVER, SELLER DOES NOT GUARANTEE
AGAINST CONDITIONS THAT CAN BE BROUGHT ON BY STRESS OR EXPOSURE TO ADVERSE CONDITIONS THAT WE CANNOT CONTROL WHEN SAID PUPPY
LEAVES OUR CARE. “THEREFORE” WE DO NOT GUARANTEE AGAINST HYPOGLYCEMIA, COCCIDIOSIS, GUARDIA, HEPATITIS, MITES,
PARASITES (INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL) AND BACTERIAL OR VIRAL INFECTIONS.
Buyer agrees to take the above described puppy to a licensed
veterinarian for a full vet check and health certificate within 3 business days after pick up. Seller must
receive copy of official health certificate within 3 business days of exam (either by fax, email or regular mail) for genetic
health guarantee to remain valid. If puppy is not examined by a licensed veterinarian within above time frame, all guarantees, implied
or written become null and void. If buyer’s
licensed veterinarian finds puppy to be free from any life threatening disease or genetic disorders
at time of examination, then obligation of seller to buyer is complete. In the event buyer’s licensed veterinarian finds the above described
puppy to have a life threatening disease or genetic disorder, the buyer must contact seller immediately, seller
reserves the right to determine course of action or all guarantees are void. Buyer must provide a written statement from a licensed veterinarian on official letterhead explaining
in detail any problems found at time of examination. Seller reserves the right to consult with secondary local licensed veterinarian
before deciding course of action. Above puppy must be returned to seller within one
week of pick up, no replacement will be made unless puppy is returned. Seller reserves the right to offer replacement of puppy with one of equal value. A cash refund
will only be offered if a replacement puppy of comparable sex/value is not available within 90 days. Seller will refund purchase
price of puppy only, shipping
charges and deposits are non-refundable. Again, seller will not be responsible for any veterinarian expenses incurred at any
time. In the unlikely event that said
puppy should die within time frame as stated above, you must have first followed all directions from seller; second, had an autopsy performed by your state lab which confirms a cause of death; and finally, provided seller with copy of report from
state lab and veterinarian before replacement or refund will be made (AT BUYER’S EXPENSE). Replacement or refund will only be made if
death is found to have been the result of a previously unknown
genetic disorder. Buyer assumes responsibility for the health and any injuries of the above described puppy after the puppy leaves the
sellers premises. It is the buyer’s responsibility to take all necessary
precautions as to protect said puppy from any dangerous or infected situations until said puppy has had all of the recommended
necessary vaccinations.
All puppies are sold as pets so no guarantee
is made as to the disposition, conformation, size, color or breeding ability. This
is a legal instrument and supersedes all other contracts both verbal and/or written.
The purchase of this puppy
shall fall under the sole jurisdiction of the laws governing Williamson County in the state of Texas only. By signing this document the buyer acknowledges their agreement to the terms and conditions of this contract.
